These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Wickly app and website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. What Wickly is — and isn't
Wickly is an educational trading simulator. All balances, trades, credits, XP, and rankings inside the App are simulated. The Service does not connect to any brokerage, does not execute real trades, and never holds real funds on your behalf.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use the Service.
- Your account is created with your email address and secured by verification codes. Keep access to your email secure — it is the key to your account.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- You may delete your account at any time in the App (Profile → Danger Zone). Deletion is permanent.
3. Fair play
The leaderboard and Arena are shared, competitive spaces. You agree not to:
- Exploit bugs, automate play, or manipulate rankings, XP, RP, or matchmaking;
- Choose a trader tag that is offensive, impersonates someone else, or infringes anyone's rights;
- Interfere with the Service, other users, or our infrastructure, or attempt to access data that isn't yours.
We may reset simulated stats, rename tags, suspend, or terminate accounts that break these rules.
4. Subscriptions & purchases
During the beta, Wickly is free and payments are disabled. If a paid tier ("Funded") launches, it will be sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple's App Store, billed and managed through your Apple account. Prices and terms will be shown before you buy; subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in your App Store settings. Simulated credits and currencies have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed.
5. Content & intellectual property
The Service — including lessons, artwork, Buck the mascot, the Wickly name and logo, and all software — is owned by Wickly and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content.
6. Availability & changes
Wickly is in active development. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and simulated stats may occasionally be adjusted or reset (especially during beta). We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wickly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including any losses arising from real-world trading decisions — and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).
8. Termination
You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 1, 5, and 7) do survive.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above; continued use of the Service after changes means you accept them.
