Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Wickly ("we", "us", the "App") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Wickly you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address, used to create your account and send a verification code.
- Learning & gameplay data. Your lesson progress, XP, streak, chosen market, avatar, trader tag, and Arena ranking (RP, wins/losses). This is stored on your device and synced to your account so it follows you across sessions and appears on the global leaderboard.
- Limited technical data. Standard data needed to operate the App (e.g., authentication tokens). We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers.
2. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and verify your email.
- To save and sync your progress and ranking across devices.
- To display the competitive leaderboard (your trader tag and avatar may be visible to other players alongside your rank).
- To operate, maintain, and improve the App.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Service providers
We use Supabase (authentication, database, and realtime infrastructure) to store your account and progress data and to power online features. Supabase processes this data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
4. Data storage & security
Account and progress data is protected with row-level security so each user can only access their own records (leaderboard fields such as trader tag, avatar, and rank are intentionally public). Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/WSS).
5. Data retention & deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the App: Profile → Danger Zone → Delete account. You can also request deletion by emailing us at the address below; we will complete it within a reasonable period.
6. Children's privacy
Wickly is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. The App contains realistic financial-markets education and is intended for a mature audience.
7. Educational disclaimer
Wickly is for education and entertainment only. Nothing in the App is financial, investment, or trading advice. Simulated results do not represent real trading outcomes. Always do your own research before risking real capital.
8. Payments
Any future paid subscription ("Funded") will be processed by Apple via the App Store; we never receive or store your payment-card details. (Payments are not active during the beta.)
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
